Engaging in Insights (Discussions)
The Insights section is the People-Powered Agency’s main forum for collaborative discussions and sharing knowledge. Organized by the three phases of the Changes Protocol – Choices, Preparation, and Delivery – Insights is where members come together to share thoughts, ask questions, and develop ideas that contribute to ethical AI governance.
Getting Started with Insights
Insights is divided into feeds and threads, each reflecting the phase of the Changes Protocol. Here’s how to get started:
1. Discussions Feed
The Discussions Feed is where you’ll find ongoing threads organized by the three protocol phases:
- Choices: A space to explore questions and foundational topics. Eco members can comment and react to existing insights here.
- Preparation: Threads created to refine ideas and add structured insights. Plus members can initiate threads and post insights for deeper discussions.
- Delivery: The final phase where insights are consolidated into comprehensive analyses. Pro members lead threads here, guiding discussions toward actionable outcomes.
2. Commenting and Reacting
All members can participate in discussions by commenting on insights or reacting to posts. Reactions allow you to express support, agreement, or other relevant emotions that enhance engagement.
How to Contribute in Insights
Your contributions in Insights vary depending on your membership level:
- Eco Members: Comment on insights in Choices and Preparation phases, and react to threads to add your perspective.
- Plus Members: Create new threads in Preparation, announce events, and moderate discussions within threads.
- Pro Members: Initiate advanced insights threads in Delivery, contribute comprehensive analyses, and help guide the community toward impactful conclusions.
Tips for Meaningful Engagement
- Be Curious: Use the Choices feed to ask foundational questions and explore diverse perspectives.
- Provide Constructive Feedback: In the Preparation phase, help refine insights by offering your unique perspectives and expertise.
- Summarize Key Points: For Pro members in the Delivery phase, synthesize insights and bring discussions to meaningful conclusions.
