Participating in Events

Colorful Gradient

Events are central to the People-Powered Agency, fostering community engagement and supporting collaborative insights through the Changes Protocol. From agency-led events open to all members to member-created events for deeper collaboration, each event provides an opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute.

Types of Events

Our events are categorized to encourage different levels of participation and engagement:

1. General Events

These are events curated by the agency, designed to be accessible to all members. General events provide an open space to engage with foundational topics, vote in polls, and share insights on popular discussions.

2. Member-Created Events

These events are created by Plus and Pro members, allowing for more targeted and interactive discussions on specific topics or themes. Member-created events encourage participants to dive deeper into collaborative topics within the community.

3. Polls and Real-Time Feedback

Many events include polls to gather real-time feedback from participants. Polls are an excellent way to voice your opinion and help shape the direction of discussions and outcomes within the event.

Participation Guidelines by Membership Level

Your engagement in events depends on your membership level, with each level providing unique ways to participate:

  • Eco Members: View general events, react to polls, and stay updated on community discussions.
  • Plus Members: Participate in member-created events, initiate discussions, and moderate event interactions.
  • Pro Members: Create, lead, and manage events, facilitate discussions, and organize community feedback sessions.

How to Get Involved in Events

  1. Browse Events: Visit the Events page to see upcoming agency and member-created events.
  2. Join Events: Click on events that interest you, read the event details, and follow any guidelines for participation.
  3. Engage Actively: Comment on discussion threads within events, respond to polls, and share your insights.
  4. Create Your Own Events (Plus and Pro Members): For deeper involvement, create an event to bring together community members around topics you’re passionate about.

Benefits of Event Participation

  • Build Connections: Events offer a great way to meet others in the community and share experiences.
  • Gain Insights: Explore diverse perspectives that contribute to a well-rounded understanding of topics.
  • Shape Community Outcomes: Active participation helps guide the agency’s focus areas and creates meaningful impact.
